Ryan Beswick's cross-shot in first half added time hit the unfortunate left-back and flew into the net.

Ben Milnes wasted Boston United's best chance before Paul Mayo's own goal on the stroke of half-time.
It was hard on the Pilgrims, who carved out numerous chances in the first half. Ben Milnes, Spencer Weir-Daley and Marc Newsham all went close to putting the visitors in front.
The home side had chances too with Beswick and Omar Bogle being denied by United keeper Dan Haystead before the Moors' fortunate goal with virtually the last kick of the half.
