Handbag snatched from teenage girl in Lincoln

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old girl had her handbag snatched from her.

The incident took place in West Parade, Lincoln, on Sunday, March 17, at around 7.30pm.

The girl was walking along the road towards the junction with Gresham Street, when a male ran past her and snatched her handbag. The victim was shaken but unhurt.

The handbag was a black quilted design with a silver chain strap and contained makeup and a Samsung mobile phone.
