Happy with a loving home
I TOOK my five-year-old daughter to see Circus Mondao in Skellingthorpe and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.
The animals were beautiful and obviously well kept. They also appeared quite happy to perform.
Perhaps the animal rights activists would be spending their time better if they protested outside the farms where exotic animals are bred and leave the circus alone.
After all, the only thing they are guilty of is giving these animals a loving home and (in the animal world) a well-paid job!

“I'm sad to see L. McCormick trying to defend the indefensible here. What criteria is this person using to judge how "happy" these animals are to perform? Why does this person think that the animals would want this "job" more than their freedom to do what they would naturally do if not held captive? Does this person know what it's like to spend many miserble hours in the back of a truck day after day? It may have been enjoyable for L McCormick and a five year old to see how stupid humans can be, but this is not proof that it is something good or enjoyable for the animals. As I said in my last letter, circuses that use animals are part of a shameful past - let Lincolshire get with the times and refuse to give room to these outdated enterprises.”
