Head to Hartsholme for outdoor fun
Hartsholme Country Park has organised several events to offer families a variety of activities over the coming weeks.
Firstly, you can join in Easter egg hunts from noon until 3pm over the entire bank holiday weekend (March 29 to April 1) and find hidden treasures left by the Easter bunny, which will lead you to a delicious treat. The vast space of the park makes for great hiding places for all those eggs. (£3.30 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Easter Egg Hunt starts at the Visitor Centre at noon, Hartsholme Country Park.)
On Good Friday, Easter Monday and Saturdays and Sundays between March 29 and April 14 (11am to 4pm) the park is encouraging people to 'Make a Date with Nature' by taking part in the annual Heron Watch around various lakeside locations.
(This event is free of charge and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Setting off at 11am in various locations around the main Hartsholme Lake, Hartsholme Country Park.)
