"Last year we attracted more than 100 vehicles and this year we are expecting more, with owners driving many miles especially to attend this event.

"The camper vans will be parked-up along both Brayford Wharf North and Brayford Wharf East and we shall also be using the road leading from Brayford Wharf East into the University of Lincoln campus."

Visitors will also be able to enjoy live music on the day, browsing VW stalls and don't forget to look out for the winners of the Show & Shine trophies, which will be presented to the owners of the best turned-out vans.

Lincoln BIG events and promotions manager Michael Armstrong says: "The Lincoln VW Camper Day is always a great attraction for families and visitors to the city, and we are really pleased that we have been able to make it bigger this year."

Join in the fun from 10am. Brayford Wharf North, Brayford Wharf East and University of Lincoln waterfront.
