The Green Dragon’s General Manager Andrew Rudolf is very enthusiastic about the future of the pub and is pleased to announce between 10 and 15 jobs have already been created.
Mr Rudolf said: “We were attracted to The Green Dragon because it is a beautiful building which is stunning inside and also in a great location.
“We set-up a Twitter account, @greendragon13, to gauge people’s feelings about the venue and received the best response we have ever had to this form of research.
“They wanted a great lunchtime offer, a good evening dining experience, a fresh kitchen serving local produce, great service and value for money.”
Banks Long & Co Director James Butcher said: “This distinctive venue is particularly well-placed to serve the cultural quarter of Lincoln and people looking for lunchtime food during business hours or evening meals when also visiting local entertainment venues.
“Because it is situated on a busy route through the city, it is also capable of catching the attention of passing trade.
"We are delighted to have leased the property to The Lemon Day Pub Company and I feel sure it will make a success of this business.”
