Hoax 999 call in Sleaford prompts Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue warning
Hoax calls being made to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue must be stopped now - the emergency service has warned.
At around 3am this morning, fire crew were called out to a reported fire at a property in Eastgate, Sleaford.
But on arrival it became clear to the team that it had been a hoax call.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: "This could have prevented crews from attending a real life saving emergency.
