When the officer checked, he discovered 0.9 grams of cannabis and 0.69 grams of Ketamine which Nagle admitted he had purchased for £10 for his own use.
On November 12 in the evening, the officer went to Nagle's home on an unrelated matter and discovered him there with other people.
When he was searched, the officer found a small quantity of cannabis in a grinder and 0.24 grams of Ketamine.
In mitigation, Gordon Holt said Nagle had a conviction for possessing cocaine in 2011 and had been experimenting with drugs with friends for four or five years since leaving school.
However, following his arrest in November, Nagle decided things had to change and he had voluntarily gone to Addaction for help.
Mr Holt said Nagle no longer bought drugs and had largely cut off his use of drugs from his daily habit.
The magistrates gave Nagle a two year conditional discharge and ordered he pay £85 in court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
