Housing firm idea is just the job for tenants
A housing association has teamed up with a local training provider in a bid to get tenants into paid jobs.
Acis Group has linked up with Riverside Training, which offers courses in the town. Acis owns and manages more than 5,300 homes across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.
It first launched its 'Just the Job' programme last year in a bid to help unemployed tenants.
Participants will be given information, advice and guidance about training and career opportunities.

"It is designed for our tenants, supporting those looking to up-skill or return to work.
"Just the Job aims to give people the skills for work and skills for life, providing employment support in key areas."
The course is open to all Acis tenants and is being held at the Park Springs Community Centre in Gainsborough, starting on Tuesday, October 2.
