Huge 3-D Lincoln Cathedral interior to launch Waterside centre photo contest
A huge three-dimensional style image of the interior of Lincoln Cathedral is being installed in the Waterside Shopping Centre tomorrow to launch the 'Vision of Lincoln' photography competition.
The dramatic 20 metres' by 8 metres' image of the Choir Screen and Organ is shot in trompe l'oeil - or trick of the eye - style.
So visitors will iterally be able to walk through the impressive view from the Nave at the cathedral.
And shoppers will have the chance to experience the display for the next five months because it will be opposite Vision Express on the centre's High Street Level until December.

The competition invites local people to submit their own visions of city, with the winners securing a place on a photography course with Going Digital.
And the best entries will be displayed around the shopping centre.
Waterside Shopping Centre general manager Roy Greening said: "The image we have chosen to launch our 'Vision of Lincoln' competition is absolutely awe-inspiring.
"And I'm sure that people will be taken aback when they see it.
"You will really feel as if you could walk straight into the cathedral and take a look around.
"It's going to be on display until Christmas."
