"We try to vary the type of events we offer and we feel this would be well-received by the Boston public as Froch is certainly a man in demand at the moment."
Froch is close to finalising a rematch with Kessler, who defeated the Nottingham fighter in a close points decision in 2010, with the O2 in London predicted to host the bout in May.
Froch claimed the IBF title last year by demolishing Canada-based Romanian Lucian Bute at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena.
World Cup final referee Howard Webb is due to appear at United's next sportsman's dinner in March.

“Yes, 'eatmygoal', there would be more of a potential market certainly, but to be frank while Sonny Bill is certainly one helluva rugby player sadly for him he would be utterly outclassed by Choc, and, I suspect, Sonny Bill would be the first to agree.
And 'eatmygoal', I disagree strongly, and find it quite laughable, your assertion that Anthony "would not offer that much of a challenge to Froch". I rather think it would be the other way round actually and I would be greatly surprised if Froch lasted much longer than 6 rounds with Choc. Let's hope we get the chance to find out.”

“Surely there would be more of a market for Choc to fight Sonny Bill Williams? Choc, sadly, would not offer that much of a challenge to Froch.”

“Quite probably a contest with Anthony Mundine (Choc) is on the cards. I know Choc is very keen to come to the UK after, although currently the outsider, he demolishes Daniel Geale at the end of this month in Sydney for the second time in his career. Anthony, one of the fastest boxers known, will have no trouble with Geale who although beating two German boxers, Sylvester and Sturm, is not in the same physical league as Mundine who in training will take on and beat three to four other boxers most days.
A world title fight, Choc v Froch, would be a tantalising spectacle and a real crowd puller. Anthony Mundine is a true sportsman having transferred as the top Australian Rugby League player into boxing and winning 44 of his 48 fights.
