Ideas competition
A COMPETITION has been launched to encourage children to get excited about manufacturing careers.
We Made It challenges 13 to 16-year-olds to submit designs and ideas for a gadget, toy or tool they would like to see made.
Entries will be judged by Boston MP Mark Simmonds and the winner will be entered into a nationwide contest involving a group of organisations involved in manufacturing, including Boeing, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and Renewable UK.
Mr Simmonds said: "I'm very proud to be supporting this great project to help young people turn their ideas into reality."
