As during Saturday's win at Sheffield, the Pilgrims plan to field a mixture of first-team regulars, fringe players and youngsters against the Daniels.
Striker Marc Newsham, who had missed all three matches with a muscle injury, could be handed his first outing of pre-season.
"There might be somebody who is not initially in our thoughts to start the season that may turn our heads before August 14," said joint-manager Rob Scott.
"It is important to have games to give players an opportunity to impress.
"Marc Newsham may be fit enough to come back in for some part of the match tonight."
Adam Millson, who completed 90 minutes against Sheffield, could also be involved at some stage. The midfielder was released by the club at the end of last season while he recovered from a broken leg, but has been given the chance to prove his fitness and earn a new contract.
The Pilgrims will come up against some familiar faces at the Vic Couzens Stadium.
Former Boston players Tony Battersby, Lee Beeson, Nick Jackson and goalkeeper Chris Wright all play for the UniBond League Division One (South) side, who are managed by former Lincoln City caretaker boss Simon Clark.
