Imps' improvement against Burton leaves Sutton confident of good times ahead
CHRIS SUTTON remains convinced Lincoln City will climb away from League Two's danger zone after they scrapped to a goal-less home draw against Burton last night.
The Imps turned in a much-improved performance against the Brewers, but found goalkeeper Adam Legzdins in outstanding form.

Lincoln manager Chris Sutton.
He made several fantastic saves to earn Paul Peschisolido's side a point with the pick of the bunch coming from Ben Hutchinson's deflected effort in the second half.
Imps boss Sutton felt his side deserved all three points, and after being fiercely criticised by fans in the wake of Saturday's defeat to Stevenage, was pleased with his players' response.

"I thought we deserved to win the game," he said.
"I can only say what I see, and I found last night to be extremely encouraging.
"We created plenty of chances and with a bit of luck we would have come away with all three points.
"But I have to say, I was proud of the players' effort and to a man they were all proud to wear the shirt.
"If we keep on playing like that we will climb the table, there's no doubt about that."
Unlike Saturday's performance against Stevenage, Lincoln carried more of a threat going forward and Sutton admitted his side had stuck to his game plan.
But he said that had they boasted a striker with the ruthlessness of last season's goal hero, Davide Somma, then they would have claimed a vital win.
"We did well going forward, but just could not take our chances," he said.
"With the chance they had early on, we should have done better defensively, but after that we were on top and their keeper made some good saves.
"As long as we keep on creating, I'm convinced they will go in.
"And had we had a Davide Somma then I think we would have come out on top. The best strikers are paid the big money, but my players were not scared of getting into the box.
"In that respect, I was really pleased with them.
"We just have to keep going and I've asked more of my frontmen with respect to the goals tally."
In the meantime, Sutton confirmed he would be looking to bolster his squad by raiding the loan market.
The Imps boss confirmed he was looking to recruit, but had hit a brick wall so far.
"We've made some enquiries, but nothing has come off as yet," he said.

“i dont know who the impostor is pretending to be me but he can't even spell Cambridge. yes i am a lincoln fan and only referred to the postings as "you lincoln fans" as a figure of speech because you can get to more games than me. I have spent thousands of pounds following Lincoln over 30 years. Sutton was never going to get this team right his football knowledge was too great for this level.every team has it's ups and downs but lincolns has always been more down than up.”
