Injury to Alan Power causing crisis in Lincoln City midfield ahead of Wrexham visit
Lincoln City midfielder Alan Power is expected to be out for up to three weeks after suffering an ankle injury.
Imps boss David Holdsworth revealed the central midfielder is suffering with a swollen right ankle and looks set to miss Wrexham's visit to the 12th Imp Sincil Bank Stadium on Saturday.

"His ankle has swollen very badly," said Holdsworth.
"It has gone up like a balloon and at this moment in time it looks to be anywhere between two or three weeks."

“What's this about a visit to Ibrox next season”

“Rangers = 1 more season we are likely to be in this Graveyard league.
How is it more financially viable to play one home game v Rangers with 'daytrippers' visiting the bank for a bumper one off crowd?
Terrible idea and needs shelving.”

“Imps trip to Ibrox next season will be a great experience for supporters and players not used to the big time. Need to stay in BSP to make the most of the income.”

“Naw Franky - any professional side having been pasted first half 1-4 are gonna fight for their places in the second half. Newport sat back and rode out the storm. Even if Bush's lob had gone in earlier they would have rode it out - that's why they are at the top and we aren't.
What was interesting to me that it was Larkin - who barely had a kick in the first half - who was the one trying to rally the troops at 3-0 down. The rest looked shell shocked and done for.
Of course DH wants to play a settled side but injuries and loss of form happen.
I don't think the replacements did badly but squad wise we look mid table to me. Vast improvement on the last two years but mid table.
And I'm still concerned about DH's lack of confidence when it comes to defending. Even at 1-4 down in second half on one occasion he left NONE of our players up when Newport had a corner. On most other occasions it was one. Newport left 3 up on one occasion second half when they were defending a corner. Routinely they lined up at City Goal kicks with their midfielders further up the pitch than ourd did for a Newport GK.”

“To maybe make myself a bit clearer, the players that came in on SAT, as they did at Dartford, have proved we have a very strong back up of players at the club, some of whom do deserve better.I know some of the injured players are certainly missed, but lets not forget what the others have done with a great team spirit has been realy brilliant.Knowing it was a 4-2 result, our 2nd half 1-0 surely tells you something DH.

“Come on DH make the right selection, and let thes lads that played for their places against Newport in 2nd half turn things round for us.Until we get what we deserve in a settled side, there is no such thing as 9 1s team injuries at present As I have said before we have a very strong squad at City. Mr Holdsworth has done a very good for the club in what he inherited from the last Mngr, with what he kept and got rid of,but for me at this moment has lost his way a bit, take the blinkers off DH and then you will see all the players have been there all the time.
If some of what I say upsets anybody, sorry but its just the hard facts as things stand at present, and DH can do better and you all know that.
Revolving door as some of you have said in the past has been good for us,with one maybe two exceptions they are a good bunch, so please DH have a really good look this next game.
Farman is not an exception Nigel.
