SWEETS are back on the menu for Janneke Riches after she spent a month away from eating the treats.

The six-year-old from Lincoln decided to avoid anything sweet throughout February.

But after managing 28 days she has finally allowed herself to enjoy the taste again. Janneke decided to undertake the challenge to help raise money for wells and water pumps in Africa and has so far raised £430.

But Echo readers can help lift Janneke up to her £600 target which would help pay for the cost of building a well.
