Jake Sheridan urges Lincoln City not to become complacent and allow good form to crumble
Jake Sheridan is no longer taking anxious glances at the relegation zone - but warned complacency could put Lincoln City back in danger at the bottom.
The Imps stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games at the weekend as they sealed a thrilling 3-2 win against Hereford at Sincil Bank.
The result lifted Lincoln to ninth in the table just two months after they dropped into the bottom four of the Blue Square Bet Premier table which sparked fears of another relegation fight.
Sheridan praised the dramatic turnaround, but insisted getting carried away would put the skids on their terrific form.

"We are on a fantastic run," he said. "But two months ago, people would have laughed at you if you had predicted we would be ninth in the table.
"The players felt they were on a tipping point because we were producing the performances, just not getting the results.
"But we have now married them both together and we are flying up the table.
"What me must not do is get complacent and start thinking all we have to do is turn up to win games.
"If that mentality creeps in then you can soon find yourself back in trouble. But the lads here are focused and I know the manager would never allow us to get carried away with ourselves."
