Jazz acts tuning up to put little zing back into Friday nights
Commuter Jazz will make a return to The Zing Cafe at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre on Friday.
For more than two years, an impressive number of professional jazz musicians have been appearing at the venue every week, from Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and London.
And the fun starts all over again on Friday, January 18 (5pm-7pm).
To launch the new season, Me & Mr Jones (Rachael Foster and Paul Deats) will be delivering music from the American Song book and more.

And if you don't want the night to end just there, why not carry the swing on through the night with an evening of music from Liteside Jazz – a six-piece swing and Latin band – at Cafe Portico in Lincoln on the same night (January 18).
Food will be served from 7.30pm, and music played from 8.30pm onwards.
Tickets are priced £6 and can be bought from the bar at the venue, situated in The Terrace.
From swing to boogie-woogie, rock and roll to Latin and jazz, or just good old Beatles pop, these are the varied sounds you can enjoy on the night with a chilled out cafe vibe.
