Hayday,  and the necessary paperwork was

soon completed, and cadets were asked to volunteer to participate in the

exercise.

They all agreed that this was

an excellent idea and would help the wounded from recent conflicts.

Sgt Zukowskyj organised L/Cpl

David Cliffen, Cadets Emile Ramsay, Rob Lynam, Megan Bell and Sarah Pilcher

with their collecting tins, and off they went to the centre of Louth.

After 4 hours of hard work,

the cadets collected £320

Major Hayday commented after

the event, that " it's times like this it makes you proud to be the Contingent

Commander, what a wonderful example these cadets set to the younger newer

members of the Contingent, by giving up their Saturday to help raise money for

an excellent charity".
