Kismet Theatre set to take comedy on tour
Since their re-launch early last year, Kismet Theatre Company has scarcely had time to draw breath.
The company's artistic director Kerry Greenwood says: "We've been taking the local theatre scene by storm with acclaimed productions of The House Of Bernarda Alba, Fear Itself and community collaboration Write On The River."

Comedy: Kismet Theatre Company's production of Blue Remembered Hills
The latest production sees Kismet return to their roots with a revival of their multi award-winning production of Blue Remembered Hills.
Kerry, who is also directing this production, says: "Set in 1943, the story focuses on a group of seven-year-old children as they play and fight through one day in the long summer holidays in the Forest Of Dean."

But on this day, one incident will change their lives forever.
"Celebrated playwright Dennis Potter famously insisted his child characters be played by adults, to highlight the physical and verbal idiosyncrasies of childhood," says Kerry, "creating a bittersweet, comedy of childhood which will appeal to all ages, and which has rightly become a modern classic.
"Kismet's reputation has led to an invitation to tour this production further afield than previous shows."
Kerry adds; "Make sure you don't miss this powerful and very funny play produced by the region's latest theatrical success story."
Blue Remembered Hills kicks off in Gainsborough on Thursday, May 10 (8pm) at the Queen Elizabeth's High School Art Studio, followed by the company's main stage debut at Lincoln Drill Hall on Friday, May 11 (8pm).
