The 128th Lincolnshire Show has opened its gates, showcasing the county's finest produce and wares across 200 acres of the Lincolnshire Showground.

The show, which runs today and tomorrow, will feature mix of local produce with an emphasis on the Lincolnshire Experience, which includes a large range of products at the Select Lincolnshire and Tastes of Lincolnshire food court.

For the second year, dogs will be allowed into the Showground and Scruffts will be running a regional heat on both days of the event, giving Lincolnshire two regional winners in the 2012 final.

    “When are the organisers going to realise that most people work during the week and unless they take time off work cannot get to the show. Hold it on a Friday & Saturday and give more people the opportunity to visit the show. It would also allow families with children the opportunity to visit the show without having to take their children out of school.”
