With OOH Lincoln Ladies about to play their first game since announcing their new Super League status, manager Rod Wilson is preparing his players for a red-hot reaction from opposing teams.

The second-placed Lady Imps welcome third-placed Leicester City Ladies tomorrow with Wilson expecting a feisty riposte from the Foxes, who had also hoped to be accepted into the new summer Super League.

"This is sure to be a game with some added spice," said Wilson.

"They will be aggrieved that OOH Lincoln Ladies were awarded Super League status and they will come here to prove they're better.

"I think every side we play between now and the end of the season will feel they have added incentive to try and beat us.

"I wouldn't be surprised if there is a real cup-final feel to our remaining games this season.

"I don't really worry about it. We have been playing exceptionally well since Christmas and have found a winning habit.

"It would be nice to finish the season winning all our remaining games."
