Letitia lights up city
WITH VIDEO: Actress Letitia Dean lit up Lincoln when she switched on the city's Christmas lights.
The former EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing star, who grew up in Lincolnshire, presided over the official switch on of the city's lights, along with Lincoln Mayor Ron Hills.

“I'll tell you why this city has no famous people, no superstars, no luck and no passion. It's because of that Lincoln Imp, its bad luck, it brings bad times and has a curse on the city. We need to get rid, Its evil.”

“Letitia look fabulous. Can't believe that people moan about her. Who do they except to come Beckham???? Lincoln is a small city after all. However the thing that made me laugh, was the bigest cheer of the night was when the mayor said 'I'm gonna finish speaking now' Hahahaha.”

“Many thanks to the City Council: the new lights are a vast improvement and more modern, but remain tasteful.
Cheered me up no end. I had hoped that the moaners and whingers would be happy or at least not find anything to go on about, but even if Her Majesty had switched them on, there would have been someone to say that her crown was not straight.
Be happy and spread a smile around:it will come back to you with interest (though not from the banks!)
Have a Happy Christmas everyone!”
