It is how universities and colleges fill any spaces they have left.
It is usually for anyone who didn’t get the results they thought.
It is also for those who haven’t applied through UCAS yet for September 2013 entry, or who sent their application to UCAS after June 30.
You may be able to find a course similar to the one you had originally chosen, or might be interested in something completely different.
The UCAS website should guide you through choosing another course and adding your details to the clearing process.
The college or university you have chosen may get in touch with you, to talk about joining them.
Or if your results were better than you thought, you can change to a course with a higher entry level through the UCAS Adjustment system.
