GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY host Droylsden in the Blue Square Bet North tomorrow (3pm) looking to turn around some poor form and find their third win of the season.

Since their opening-day victory over Worcester City, Trinity have won only once, and that was at cash-strapped Ilkeston Town.

There have been a raft of changes at the Northolme this season with no less than 10 new faces now at the club, and midfield schemer Lewis McMahon believes the team need more time to "click" in matches.

"It just hasn't clicked into place yet, it's not a case of us lacking the right kind of players because we have seen glimpses of what we're capable of," he said.

"We are lacking that crucial bit of belief, but we have to stick together because we have a new side.

"Everyone has been getting on well and in training we have looked like Real Madrid at times."

The former Sheffield Wednesday man has suggested it is the work ethic of the team that needs to change if they are to turn around their season.

And McMahon even hinted at the example second-placed side Workington are setting this season.

"We went on a very good run at the end of last season and I think we have a better team now, which makes the defeats even harder to believe," said the former Notts County player.

"During that run we had a great work ethic and were grafting in every match, and it's that work ethic we now need to help us out of this rut.

"You only have to look at Workington to see how a good work ethic can work wonders in this division.

"No disrespect to them but when we played I didn't see any of their players and think they were very talented, but they have prospered because they chase causes."
