Each motion will be presented and then the audience will be invited to participate in a friendly open debate.

Newly-elected local party chairman David Harding-Price said: "These meetings are an opportunity for any one to come and join in a friendly debate about issues that affect the local area.

"All too often people say politics does not affect them so they are not going to get involved, and yet almost everything politicians do locally and nationally affects people's lives.

"These meetings will provide people with an opportunity to come along and share their thoughts on issues."

Each event starts at 7pm and lasts for an hour.
