Lincoln Christmas Market: Road closures
Extensive temporary road closures and restrictions will be in place from December 5 to 9 for the Lincoln Christmas Market.
Highways at Lincolnshire County Council will be imposing the restrictions, as and when they are required during the market period.

Alternative routes will be provided with local diversion routes being signposted.
The restrictions are for all vehicular traffic and arrangements are being made to enable pedestrians to access premises in the affected area, while the event takes place.

A range of temporary speed limits, one-way orders and a bus lane will also be implemented.
The bus lane will run on Upper Longs Leys Road, eastbound between Mill Road and Burton Road.
Temporary speed limits will be on the A15 around RAF Scampton and on the A1500, Horncastle Lane, westbound into the A15 roundabout.
Parking restrictions will result in the suspension of disabled parking and residents parking in Bailgate and in Eastgate, with no waiting at any time being enforced.
Widespread no waiting at any time orders will be enforced across Uphill Lincoln and to the north of the city.
