Several changes have been made to improve crowding issues at the Lincoln Christmas Market as over 300,000 people are expected.

The event now spans a wider area and a new one-way system has been put in place aimed at guiding visitors around the almost 300 stalls more safely.

A special stage has been erected at St Paul in the Bail, off Westgate and Bailgate, where 20 minute slots will be filled with Theatre, music and even Shakespeare.
