Lincoln City 0 Aldershot 1: Gary Simpson frustrated with Aldershot defeat
Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson could not hide his frustration after watching his Imps side slip to their second home defeat of the season.
The Imps were beaten 1-0 by Aldershot yesterday with Brett Williams's penalty, awarded for Nat Brown's handball, separating the two sides.
Lincoln desperately tried to summon an equaliser and the closest they came was through makeshift forward Andrew Boyce who had a shot cleared off the line.
The result kept Lincoln in ninth although they lost further ground on the top five side at the summit of the Skrill Premier.

Simpson said: "It was a frustrating afternoon and the conditions suited Aldershot.
"They've got pace, they've got players who can take you on.
"We set off well, but then Farms has produced three good saves.
"We then settled down, but I just do not know what we were doing for the penalty.
"Whether it was brain block, I just don't know.
"In the second half, we have had quite a few chances. Boyce has caused a few problems.
"I suppose you do get days like this."
