Lincoln City Supporters Trust chair Lissie Wilkins has thanked the efforts of Steff Wright and Lincoln City's board to provide free transport to the Imps FA Cup Second Round clash against Northwich Victoria on November 28.

Supporters interested in taking up the offer will be asked to pay a £10 deposit which will be refunded on the coach on the day of the game.

The Red Imps Travel Section coaches will depart Sincil Bank at 8.30am.

"On behalf of LCST, and all our fans, I would like to thank Steff Wright and the LCFC Board for their generous offer to provide free coach transport to our forthcoming FA Cup match v Northwich," said Wilkins.

"As all travelling fans know only too well, watching Lincoln on the road is a very expensive business.

"This gesture will be very popular with the faithful, and will hopefully encourage many more fans to go to the match and give much needed support to the lads in their quest for cup glory."

“Hopefully people will ignore the TV coverage and travel--good away support is like having an extra player! UP THE IMPS!!”

“Steff Wright gets a lot of bad press from most supporters. However this is a great gesture from him and i will be going on the buses to see us reach the 3rd round in years. Well done Steff and the board.”
