Lincoln City boss Chris Sutton determined to sharpen his defence
Chris Sutton has vowed to correct Lincoln City's set-piece sorrow after admitting his frustration at the soft goals which are undermining his survival bid.
Ahead of tonight's showdown with Darlington, which could prove to be a pivotal evening in the fight against relegation, the Imps boss wants to stop the defensive problems that are starting to resurface.

Sutton was less than enamoured with Chesterfield's second goal in their 2-1 defeat at the weekend, which arrived after the Imps failed to deal with a corner.
The City chief is in no doubt where the majority of the problems lie and, as he prepares for tonight's crunch clash, is working hard to fix it.
"Set-pieces are a big part of football," said Sutton (pictured left).
"At the moment, I have to say we are off it and we are working hard to try and improve in that area because it has become a problem for us.
"But while we are trying to correct it, you need people to want to head the ball and that's something we have to be better at.
"Can you coach it? It's a difficult one, because you have the (Nathan) Bakers and the (Chris) Herds who want to attack the ball.
"That's why the likes of John Terry and Nemanja Vidic are absolutely crucial and paid the money that they are.
"They want to go and head the ball be it in defence or attack and it's an absolutely essential skill to have."

“Well, at least Danny Hone wanted to head it tonight, in the 97th minute!! Better late than never! Could be a turning point after the disappointing run of away defeats. Up the Imps”

“well its nearly 7pm on a matchday. Having read a lot of the posts im not sure what to make of some of my fellow Imps. Its tough guys but i remember in the first ten games we could hardly string a pass together and defended like numptys. CS is slowly improving things in my view but 4-5-1 is not my favourite. if we cant defend lets go down trying to score more than the opposition so 4-3-3 would be a start. Keep the Faith !!! And if your really down just go on the grimsby telegraph site the codheads are in total dissarray. Unity will prevail - Division = Fail. Up the Imps”
