Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson targeting loan moves for club's teenage stars
Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson said he will continue to look for opportunities for his younger players to develop on loan.
Teenage striker Conner Robinson joined Skrill North side Gainsborough Trinity last week on a month-long deal and started in their 3-1 defeat at home to AFC Telford United last weekend.
He is among three teenage players, along with Jordan Thomas and Karl Cunningham, in the Imps ranks who Simpson is keen to see develop.
And with no reserve team squad, loan moves to other teams is Simpson’s intention when the players are ready.

“I will be trying to get some of the others out there,” said Simpson.
“Conner Robinson has gone out to get some football and we will be trying to get Jordan Thomas out as well.
“At present Carl Cunningham has a bit of an ankle problem, so we need to get that right first.
“But they need to be playing football.”
And Simpson has not ruled out the prospect of more players in his squad going out on loan.
However, while he has a number of injuries his squad is being fully utilised.
“At this stage of the season everyone pretty-much is being involved,” said Simpson.
“Take the game at Dartford for instance. Outside of the injured players and suspensions there was only Todd Jordan who is considered a first team player not in the squad.
“So we will keep an eye on the situation as it develops.”
