Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson wants to strengthen again
Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson has revealed that Marlon Jackson will not be his last signing as he looks to add to his squad.
The Imps boss has conceded that he needed to step into the loan market after injuries crippled his forward line.
City are missing Danny Rowe (ankle), Adi Yussuf (hamstring) and Nick Wright (hamstring), while Todd Jordan, who has been playing on the left-side of midfield, is also facing the prospect of a hernia operation.
Simpson has made his first move by bringing in Jackson, 22, on a two-month loan deal from League Two side Bury, but the City boss has said it will not be his last.

“Jackson will not be the last of the deals I do,” said Simpson. “I’m trying to bring at least one more player in and I’ve got a few phone calls in already.
“We’ve got to a situation now where we have to be proactive. We have struggled with our injuries, but even now players like Todd Jordan, who has been filling in on the left-side, have got injured.
“I want to get one, possibly two more in. We’ve got to try and do something. We were close to bringing in another one earlier in the week and I’ve made some more enquiries.
“I think we need at least one more in and we’re looking at forwards and then we’ll have a look and see where else needs strengthening.”
