Lincoln City boss pleased with new signing Jake Jones as team returns to training
New signing Jake Jones could be in contention to make an impact against Forest Green Rovers after impressing City boss David Holdsworth in training.
The young winger arrived on a one-month youth loan from League Two Walsall on Monday, but the freezing weather has meant that it has been difficult for Holdsworth to fully assess him.

However, after what Holdsworth hailed as a "tremendous effort" from volunteers to help clear the club's training pitch of snow, the Imps manager has finally cast his eye over him.
"Jones looked really sharp and very lively," said Holdsworth.

"He is the sort of player who can play anywhere along the front four and he showed us in training what an attacking and dangerous player he is going forward.
"I think he is going to be a good addition."
Holdsworth is still in the hunt for fresh faces to bolster his squad with another midfielder his main target.
However, after suffering nearly a week without having the chance to kick a ball, he was relieved to finally put his squad through its paces.
"It has been very frustrating for all of us," said Holdsworth.
"The weather has forced us to do work inside and rather than kick a ball, we've been doing gym work, which is not ideal.
"You want to be working on skills and set-up, especially when you have a new face and this weather has been a big pain.
"If the game had gone ahead against Luton on Tuesday then I would have been forced to contemplate throwing Jones in without him even training properly with us.
"Thankfully now we can have a bit of time before the Forest Green Rovers game to work on a few things."
