Lincoln City boss: I could have sold three players during transfer window
David Holdsworth has revealed he could have sold three players, including star striker Jamie Taylor, before the closure of the January transfer window.
The Lincoln City boss says several of his players have been the subject of interest, but does not want to upset supporters or the balance of his side, which has been blighted by injuries in recent weeks.
"I have to do what's right for the supporters," said Holdsworth, who also revealed he has turned down an offer from Boston United for another striker, Bradley Barraclough.
"There are two or three very good players who I probably could have sold.

"But I didn't want to. We've had a good cup run this season and I feel the club's in a stable place, although those funds haven't gone on players.
"I wouldn't want to sell Jamie Taylor, I want to keep him at the football club.
"I just don't want to unsettle my squad, I have to do what I can for this football club."
