Lincoln City will have to mix it in Skrill Premier, says Danny Rowe
Playmaker Danny Rowe says Lincoln City must be a team for all seasons in the Skrill Premier this term.
The Imps begin their league campaign with a tough trip to Woking tomorrow and while Rowe and his team-mates want to play slick football, he insists it will not always be possible amid the hustle and bustle of non-league's top-flight.
“We started pre-season playing passing football, but since then we’ve mixed it up a bit,” said Rowe, one of the Imps' summer signings.
“In the Conference, I don’t think total football will always work with some of places and pitches you have to play on.”

While a victory tomorrow would represent the perfect start for City, Rowe maintains the league will not begin to take shape until at least a month into the campaign.
“It’s difficult to say how we’ll do, but we’ve signed some good players. We’ve got a hard start, but it’s nothing to be fearful of,” added the former Stockport and Barrow forward.
“You’ll really know where you are a month or two into the season.”
