Lincoln City's clash at Braintree Town is postponed because of waterlogged pitch
Lincoln City's Blue Square Bet Premier clash at Braintree Town has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
Heavy rain left standing water on parts of the pitch at the Amlin Stadium leaving a local referee with no choice but to call the game off.

It is the third game the Imps have lost to the weather in the last month with games against Wrexham and Luton also being postponed.
A new date for the Braintree game is yet to be announced.

“If they are getting to know each other and learning skills and techniques nigelsparky, they are certainly not showing it on match day. As I have said before on many occasion, most of the time they run around like headless chickens. Every one that I speak to when leaving the bank after a game they are all of the same opinion. I want to see the Imps do well, but I personally think for them to do well there has got to e a change in the training regime.”

“Nigelsparky, When I say they don't know each other it is in the context that they are not developing teamwork skills. As for training together or separately. You tell me. I certainly think the training regime leaves a lot to be desired.”

“Franky68, I think that Holdsworth should pick the best from the bunch he has and stick with them so they can develop and get to know each other. He knows who the best are. Chopping and changing all the time is no good. At the moment every game is like watching a pre season trial selection program. Or you get the impression that all the names are drawn out a hat on match day. Most of the players are struggling because they do not know each other.”

“I may have this all wrong but to me the run of bad luck, ie letting in more goals than we should do is down to the fact that Neil Gardener the goal keeping coach has left the scene.
Neil had a great rapport not only with the goalies but with all the players.”
