Lincoln City set for behind closed doors friendly with Chesterfield
Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson will take his side to Chesterfield this afternoon for a behind closed doors friendly.
The Imps boss is determined to get some much needed minutes on the pitch for some of his players as he tries to bring his squad back to full health.
Striker Nick Wright is the main injury concern as he continues his comeback from a hamstring problem.
Also looking to benefit will be Adi Yussuf, who came off the bench for his first game on Saturday since recovering from his own hamstring problem.

Alongside them will be captain Alan Power, who has missed the last three matches due to suspension following his red card at Cambridge United.
“It is a chance for those that haven’t been playing some time on the pitch and to get some minutes,” said Simpson.
“I had been in touch with Chesterfield on Friday and we both monitored the situation. We caught up again after the matches on Saturday and it was still on.
“Players like Alan Power will be involved, but he’s not the only one who will benefit. Some will get a good run out, others might only have 45 minutes. Some will only do what they can do.”
