“impalways what an absolute load of tripe!! The team would have stayed up more comfortably without any manager at all, just rudderless and going on the ability of the players, than they did with this melon in charge. You'll all change your tune when we're languishing near the bottom after a handful of games”

    “Imp73
Doubt he will go to the mariners, we have enough defenders already, and i haven't heard any rumours about him.
We are about to sign Luke Daley which will take our player count to 20 and that will be it on the signings front i think.
You could have done a lot worse than Gary Silk for a defender, he has now gone to Boston. A damn good full back.
    Good luck next season.

“Nice to read of someone showing our manager little respect rather than mindlessly blaming him for all of the clubs ills!”

“IMP73 you make a good point about DH - so far he hasn't moaned he just gets on with it and to be honest I cant see him giving up he seems like a true fighter I think he will come good and I respect the man, he's a proper leader not a coward like a few managers of recent past”

“Folks - good to see a young lad being brought in as a developmental player, especially someone relatively local and hopefully he'll come good over next couple of seasons.

But!! No-one better think or hope this kid is going to solve the gap in the squad that Smith has left. This needs some proper budget to pickup a goalscorer even in this division, whether thats a good-quality loanee or a permanent deal. Lots of money come in recently, no sign of it being released to the Manager.....

Can't imagine DH hasn't got a few options lined up, so must be more likely that his hands are tied. If the rumours of Gowling to Macc or G*****y are true, then that'll be another big wedge DH could re-invest, if he's allowed.

Makes you wonder whether he's thinking this is all worth it, knowing who'll carry the can if we don't start well over the next few weeks.”

“So the Number 14 shirt of Smith is being handed to Vadaine Oliver. It's good to see that we've spent the £25k from the sale of Smith, and the £21k from the ground naming raffle on a super new £46k striker from Sheffield Wednesday. Things are looking up for the Imps at last.”
