Lincoln City transfer gossip: Conner Robinson bound for Gainsborough Trinity?
Gainsborough Trinity are hoping to tie up a deal for Lincoln City striker Conner Robinson in a bid to end their alarming start to the season.
The Echo understands Blues boss Steve Housham is hoping to recruit the striker on loan after vowing to reinforce his underachieving squad.
Trinity have suffered four straight defeats which has left them bottom of the table, but Housham hopes the arrival of Robinson can spark the Blues into life.
Lincoln are willing to let the striker leave on loan especially with first-team chances limited because of their start to the season.

Earlier today, Lincoln boss Gary Simpson admitted he could let some of his young players go out on loan to get much needed game time.
“I might let one or two go out and get some games,” said Simpson.
“It would probably be the younger lads.
“They need games. They have not been involved much. They are training well, but with the squad being what it is they haven’t had a look in and we want them to get some minutes on the pitch.”
