Lincoln Ladies add pace to attack
LINCOLN LADIES boss Rod Wilson has added a pair of speedy strikers to his squad ahead of the resumption of the Women's Super League.
New Zealand international Emma Kete and England Under-23 ace Jodie Taylor have been drafted in as the Lady Imps look to improve their abysmal goalscoring record from the first half of the season.

Lincoln scored just twice during their first seven games before the league's two-month break for the World Cup in Germany.
Following Japan's shock victory over the USA in Sunday's final in Frankfurt, the Super League is set to resume with the Lady Imps' trip to Bristol Academy tomorrow night (7.15pm).

"We've signed Jodie on loan from Birmingham," explained Wilson. "We would have liked to have signed her, but Birmingham wouldn't release her.
"She hasn't played for them in the Super League. She's been playing in Australia most recently and before that played in America.
"She is very, very quick."
Wilson persuaded Kete – another player with blistering pace – to sign after meeting the Kiwi striker at the World Cup.
The 23-year-old did not get on the pitch during her country's three games in Germany, but Wilson believes she is another player who can help cure Lincoln's goalscoring problems.
"She's another player with a lot of pace," added Wilson.
"I'm expecting her to make a big impact."
Kete could be involved tomorrow night, but Taylor is doubtful with an Achilles injury.
She is more likely to make her debut against her parent club Birmingham on Sunday week.
The arrival of Kete and Taylor has led to the club releasing another striker, Rachel Furness.
The former Sunderland striker, who played in Lincoln's 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea in May, has been selected for the Great Britain World Student Games squad which is preparing to fly out to China.
