"We cannot thank him enough for the work that he has done behind the scenes at all levels and most recently as first team manager.
"Unfortunately, with the ambition that the club holds to continue our growth and expansion, we felt that a new approach to the first team may be beneficial and we will now be starting the search for the ideal candidate to take the club forwards.
"I am delighted to say that Glen will continue in his role as Technical Director of the club's Centre of Excellence, his knowledge, experience and dedication will continue to be a massive asset to the club and we are better as an organisation for his continued involvement."
