Lincoln Ladies boss Glen Harris relieved of first-team duties
Lincoln Ladies have relieved manager Glen Harris of his first-team duties following their inconsistent season in the Women's Super League.
Harris was informed of his fate last night after the club reviewed the campaign in which they finished fifth in the table.
However, Harris, who was in his second spell in charge of the ladies after returning to the helm last September, will remain as technical director of the club's Centre of Excellence.
In a statement released on the club's website, chief executive Luke Negus-Hill said: "Glen has done a fantastic job for Lincoln Ladies from the very start.

"We cannot thank him enough for the work that he has done behind the scenes at all levels and most recently as first team manager.
"Unfortunately, with the ambition that the club holds to continue our growth and expansion, we felt that a new approach to the first team may be beneficial and we will now be starting the search for the ideal candidate to take the club forwards.
"I am delighted to say that Glen will continue in his role as Technical Director of the club's Centre of Excellence, his knowledge, experience and dedication will continue to be a massive asset to the club and we are better as an organisation for his continued involvement."
