Louth Town are enjoying a positive start in the Northern Counties East League Division One with an impressive 23 points from 12 games.

Town will be disappointed after being held 2-2 at home to second to bottom Hallam last Saturday, though.

Louth's next league game is their away trip against seventh place Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on Saturday.

The White Wolves were due to play Barton Town Old Boys in the Lincs Senior Trophy this Wednesday.

Lincoln Moorlands Railway are having a miserable season in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, sitting rock bottom with just one point from 12 games.

Their last match was a 5-0 home thumping at the hands of Bridlington Town, which brings their appalling defensive record to 55 goals conceded in 12 games.

Up next are Winterton Rangers on Saturday, who are just one place higher in the league.

Boston Town are sitting comfortably in ninth spot in the United Counties League with 14 points from nine games.

They are, however, without a win in two games after recent defeats to Deeping and Shepshed.

They will hope to return to winning ways when they host 11th placed Desborough Town on Saturday.

Sleaford Town were beaten 3-0 by division leaders St Ives on Saturday, and are without a win in the league since September 8.

A disappointing set of results have seen Town slip to 16th in the league, and they face a tough challenge when they travel to second placed Cogenhoe on Saturday.

Grantham Town are without a win in four games after recent defeats to Bedford Town in the FA Trophy and Cambridge City in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division.

They currently sit in eighth spot with 12 points from eight games, and will be looking to take all three when they host second to bottom Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday.
