Lincoln United aiming for a cash boost from cup campaign
Dave Frecklington is hoping a little bit of cup magic can boost Lincoln United's coffers.
The Whites enter the FA Cup at the preliminary round stage on Saturday when they travel to fellow Evo-Stik League Division One (South) side Coalville Town, writes Peter Hayward.
And with £1,925 up for grabs for the winners, Frecklington is desperate to win.
"We want to progress as far as we can," said Frecklington. "It brings funds to the club.

"It's also a chance to put on a performance."
The Whites have endured an inconsistent start to their new campaign in the Evo-Stik League Division One (South).
They opened with two defeats, but picked up a 2-1 win at Newcastle Town last Saturday and then drew 3-3 with Scarbrough Athletic at the NTR Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday in front of more than 200 people.
The Whites took a three-goal lead over Scarborough thanks to an attacking front four of Gio Carchedi, Sean Cann, Andy Hutchinson and Josh Bowden.
However, the visitors clawed their way back and equalised in the fourth minute of additional time.
Despite a disappointing end to the match, Frecklington is confident ahead of facing Coalville.
"We go there with confidence," said Frecklington.
"We want to attack teams but we also need to stop conceding goals and that's what we are working on.
"Scarborough gambled. It was disappointing to draw but I can't ask any more from the lads. They were absolutely superb. For large parts of the game we were frightening.
"Hutchinson played on the right wing against Scarborough to stop their left back bombing forward.
"Sometimes you have to change your formation because Scarborough are a very good team.
"We stopped that in the first half. We got the ball to feet. Cann was superb today. He has been brilliant in the last two games.
"We've learned from every game. We gave a workmanlike performance in our win at Newcastle last Saturday and we were superb on Monday."
