Formed in the mid-nineties, Punch the Monkey is a well-known covers band with an eclectic repertoire ranging from Led Zeppelin to The Black Eyed Peas.
"We take pop songs and rock them up a bit," explains vocalist Colin Calam.
"And we're big supporters of the cause."
The organisers, Bianca Harris and Samantha Cooke, have organised the event as part of a Lincs FM competition against two other couples, with the pair who raise the largest amount winning a wedding worth £6,500 at the Oaklands Hall Hotel, in Laceby.
The gig is free to enter but the engaged couple will be asking for donations to the air ambulance on entry and will also be holding a charity raffle.
"Hand on heart, we don't have a figure that we're aiming for," said Bianca.
"It's all for a good cause so everything we can raise will be a bonus. If we could be the winning couple, it would be fantastic, but we're just hoping to raise as much as possible."
The Engine Shed charity gig is restricted to those aged 14 and other.
The couple are also planning another event – a "prison break" competition on March 8 where couples are invited to start at Lincoln Castle and try get to a series of destinations within 24 hours without spending any money.
