Lincoln post box painted gold for Paralympic medalist Sophie Wells
Lincoln has a gold post box to celebrate Sophie Wells' Paralympic success as a part of the Great Britain Equestrian Team.
22-year-old Sophie Wells, who was born in Lincoln, played a crucial role in the equestrian team gold medal performance and also scooped two individual medals for Great Britain in the dressage competition.
Talking of her Paralympic exploits Wells said: "Life will never be the same after this. We'll never be able to top the experience."
Royal Mail transformed the post box in Castle Square in the Bailgate area of the city, on September 7.
