Lincoln pupils smash Guinness World Record for singing and signing
Hundreds of school pupils from Lincoln have helped to smash the Guinness World Record for the most people singing a song while performing it in sign language.
National charity SignHealth organises the sign2sing record-breaker every year and in February, 114,277 pupils and teachers from across the country took part.
This included 225 from schools in Lincoln, which included Bracebridge Infant School and Nursery and Brant Broughton Church of England and Methodist Primary School.
The event was organised to help raise awareness of deafness and to raise money for the SignHealth charity. A total of £76 was raised in Lincoln.

Although the event took place on February 8, judges at Guinness World Records have just announced that the attempt was successful, beating the previous year's record of 94,489.
Steve Powell, chief executive at SignHealth, said: "We are delighted to have broken the world record for the second year running and we are going to try and beat it again next year."
