Lincoln teenager arrested after pedestrian hit by car in Broadgate

A 19-year-old man has been arrested after a pedestrian was knocked down on the pedestrian crossing in Broadgate, Lincoln.

The incident happened at 4.12pm on Friday afternoon when a black car, believed to be a Peugeot, hit the pedestrian and failed to stop.

The car was later traced and police arrested a 19-year-old man from Lincoln.

The pedestrian was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with a head injury.
