Two Lincoln universities included in league table for first time
Lincoln's two universities have been included in the prestigious University of the Year Awards for the first time.
The newly fledged Bishop Grosseteste University gets an equal 106th ranking out of the 125 seats of learning in Britain with official university status in its first listing.
And the University of Lincoln has slipped slightly - from 52nd last year to 57th in the league tables being published this weekend in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2014.
The University of Lincoln scored 80.8 per cent for student satisfaction and 68.4 per cent for graduates' job prospects.

The University of Leicester is the the top-ranked university in the East Midlands.
The Times and The Sunday Times have produced acclaimed, but separate, university guides since 1993 and 1998 respectively.
This year, the new, combined Good University Guide will provide the most comprehensive guide to higher education in Britain in print and digital formats.
