For anyone who’s thinking of taking a trip this Bank Holiday weekend check out the latest road closures and diversions across the county.
In the Lincoln and Gainsborough area:
Pingle Lane, Bishop Norton, will be closed all weekend with diversion routes sign-posted.
Archer Road, Branston, will be closed to buses and vehicles over 7.5 tonnes all weekend. Diversions will be signposted.

Cromwell View, Caistor, will be closed all weekend with diversion routes signposted.
Deacon Road, Lincoln, will be closed all weekend with diversion routes in place.
Friars Lane, Lincoln, will be closed will be closed all weekend with diversion routes in place.
Hungate (Corporation Street to Park Street/Mint Lane), Lincoln, will be closed all weekend with diversion routes in place.
Monks Road (junction of Jellicoe Avenue to Broadgate), Lincoln, will be closed all weekend with diversion routes in place.
The footbridge over the railway from Oxford Street to Tentercroft Street, Lincoln, will be closed today and tomorrow.
Steep Hill, Lincoln, will be closed on Monday with alternative suggested routes via Michaelgate, Hungate, Garmston Street, St Martins Street and Well Lane.
St Marks Street, Lincoln, will be closed Eastbound from RSPCA to High Street. Suggested routes via Gyratory, Brayford Bridge, Carholme Road, Newland, Wigford Way or High Street.
In the East Lindsey area:
UPDATE Sunday 12.30pm: An accident on the A18 in Ludborough near Louth has closed the road in both directions between the Livesey Road junction and the Salters' Lane junction.
UPDATE Sunday 11am: Some traffic is starting to build as people make their way to the coast.
There is heavy traffic towards Skegness with delays on the A52 Wainfleet Road going eastbound, between the Dorothy Avenue junction and the Richmond Drive junction.
There is also heavy traffic on the A158 Burgh Road in Skegness heading eastbound, near the A52 Roman Bank junction.
For the British Superbike Championships taking place this weekend the A153, Cadwell, from Bluestone Heath Road to junction north of Cadwell Park main entrance, will be closed.
There will be access for Superbike traffic only with diversion routes in place.
Bluestone Heath Road, from Rowgate Road to the A153, will be closed and diversions will be signposted.
In Scamblesby Chapel Lane, Mill Lane, Old Main Road, Rowgate Road, South Street and Watery Lane will all be closed for the British Superbike Championships with diversions in place.
Horncastle Market Place will be closed on Saturday for Market Day.
Butcher Lane and Cornmarket, Louth, are closed from 6am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday for Market Day.
Monks Dyke Road, Louth, will be closed with diversion routes signposted.
Culvert Road, Thorpe Culvert, will be closed with diversion routes signposted.
Baumber Road, Wispington, will be closed with diversion routes signposted.
South Kesteven and Sleaford area:
UPDATE Sunday 4pm: The A1 in Long Bennington has now been cleared and re-opened.
UPDATE Sunday 1pm: An upturned caravan and multiple car crash has closed the A1 in Long Bennington, causing delays northbound between Long Bennington North Junction and Dry Doddington.
Green Lane, Aisby, will be closed with diversions via Mill Lane and Mere Lane.
High Street, Bicker, will be closed.
Church Street, Billingborough, will be closed with diversions signposted.
Manning Road and Spalding Place, Bourne, will be closed with diversions in place.
The Drift/Viking Way, Denton, will be closed.
Guildhall Street, Wide Westgate, Narrow Westgate, Market Place, Butchers Row and Conduit Lane, Grantham, will all be closed for the Saturday Market.
Belton Lane, Grantham, will be closed with diversions signposted.
Springfield Road, Grantham, will be closed Eastbound from Stamford Street to London Road, with diversions in place.
Spring Gardens, Grantham, will be closed with diversions signposted.
Rowston Fen Lane, Rowston, will be closed from 8pm until 7am.
Broad Street, Ironmonger Street, Red Lion Street, Crown Street and High Street, Stamford will all be closed for the Friday Market.
High Street, Red Lion Square and Ironmonger Street, Stamford, will all be closed for the Saturday Market.
Mallory Lane, Rutland Terrace, Sidney Farm Lane and St Leonards Street, Stamford, will be closed all weekend with diversions signposted.
Boston and South Holland area:
UPDATE Saturday 11am: Chaucer's Way in Spalding is closed at the Pennygate junction following flooding.
Claydyke Bank and Maryland Bank, Amber Hill, will be closed all weekend with diversions signposted.
High Street, Bicker, will be closed all weekend.
Hospital Lane footbridge, Boston, will be closed all weekend with diversions signposted.
The A16 Spalding Road, from Liquorpond Street to London Road, Boston, will be closed all weekend with diversions signposted.
North Forty Foot Bank, Brothertoft, will be closed all weekend.
Bakers Lane, Fishtoft, will be closed all weekend with diversions signposted.
The B1168 High Street and Church Street, Holbeach, will be closed on Saturday for Market Day.
North Forty Foot Bank and Parsons Drove, Holland Fen, will both be closed all weekend.
Market Place, Long Sutton, will be closed on Friday for Market Day.
Lade Bank, Old Leake, will be closed all weekend.
Low Road and Marsh Road, Spalding, will be closed all weekend with diversions signposted.
Claxby Bank and Lade Bank, Wrangle, will be closed all weekend.
There is currently major engineering work being undertaken at Nottingham with East Midlands Trains which is due to end on Sunday. For full details of change to train times visit http://www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk/train-times/nottingham-disruption.
East Midlands Trains has been running trains from Nottingham to Lincoln and Skegness for the past couple of weeks during the work. For the final part of the work a bus replacement service will be running on this route on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Train services will be restored again on Monday.
On Monday a two hourly service will operate between Leicester and Lincoln until mid-afternoon, when a full service will operate.
